Hi,
I am hoping at some point swing & lindy will also be danced in the Thousand Oaks area in Ventura County where I live. There is interest at the YMCA - The YMCA in Dos Vientos (Newbury Park) is currently looking for a swing dance instructor for classes in the evening. Please pass on if you know of anyone interested.

Hi,
Come to Santa Barbara for dancing and escape the heat of Los Angeles! 
I am looking for a guy who knows swing dancing and/or lindy hop and would like go dancing at the Carrillo Ballroom in Santa Barbara. The dance is this Friday and starts at 8:30pm. I am a college student and an intermediate dancer in swing, lindy, and balboa.The band that is playing is The Ojai Big Band which is a 17 piece orchestra and I have heard that it is a really good band to dance to. The Carrillo Ballroom has been recently renovated and has one of the best sprung floors on the West Coast. Hope to dance with you!

Burbank. Every Sunday night with live music.
Lessons start at 6ish, dance starts at 8ish.
$10 fee with one free drink, hard/soft or water.
In the Moose Lodge.
(They filmed the Lean Rhymes "swingin" music video there.)
Have to be 21+ since they have a bar up front.
Primarily Blues dancing.
The dance floor is medium size. Skill level of dancers seems to
be above average consisting mostly of veteran blues and swing dancers,
but they are friendly and there are lessons.
For a live music place they are a bargain.
